Audit: Setting the conditions for the development of learning behaviour (based on Hart 2010)

to access a short audit designed to stimulate thinking about setting conditions that are conducive to the development of Learning Behaviour. Many of the items are likely to be quite familiar, illustrating the point that Behaviour for learning does not set out, or claim to be a new approach to behaviour management. Rather it seeks to encourage teachers and others to select strategies that protect or enhance the three behaviour for learning relationships (with self, with others
and with the curriculum). Though not an exhaustive list, practices in the audit, drawn from a research article by Hart (2010), seem consistent with this principle.
